Lab in a Box

ANGOLA

The Lab in a Box – Angola is part of a partnership between the Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciência (IGC) and the Katyavala Bwila University (UKB), funded by the Merck Family Foundation (MFF) and with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Angola. It aims to empower Angolan teachers to more effectively teach the experimental sciences in schools.

While in its research & development phase during 2020/2021, the “Lab in a Box – Angola” kit will be specifically developed for easy implementation in the classroom and full integration into Angolan Biology and Geography curricula (grades 7-9), with the collaboration of the Higher Institute of Educational Sciences of Benguela. The first “Lab in a Box – Angola” teacher training is scheduled for 2021 in Benguela.
